Instrument Stage II

Hold at SNS VOR.

VOR 13 SNS pilot navigation(partial panel).

ILS 31 SNS

NDB B WVI or GPS 31R RHV

Depart RHV under VFR if the weather permit. The check airman will give vector to SNS.

The check airman will give you a holding clearance.

During hold, prepare for VOR 13 approach. Contact Norcal when you are ready for VOR approach. In the case of no ADF, use GPS as DME. Do not load VOR 13 on GPS.

During all approach, we will be simulating IMC. Check airman will tell you when to take the hood off. When he say " Look outside", that mean you came out of cloud. If you see runway, callout " Runway insight" and land. If you reach MAP before the check airman tell you to look outside, you are still in the cloud. Commence missed approach immediately

After VOR approach, the check airman will give radar vector if the weather permit. Otherwise request vector to Nocal. After ILS, follow the missed approach procedure and request NDB S WVI or GPS 31R RHV as apropreate.
